Cedar Valley Makers

Cedar Valley Makers, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) with the mission to promote collaborative learning, creative design and manufacturing for people of all ages and skill levels. They provide education by giving access to tools, machines and training inside their makerspace and by promoting and planning educational events that can forward scientific thinking, learning and entrepreneurial spirit for all members of their community.

Cedar Valley Makers is located at Tech1 Building, 3rd floor 360 Westfield, Ave. Waterloo, Iowa, 50701 in the TechWorks Campus.

With one of their individual or family membership options, members gain 24/7 access to their available equipment and tools like a drill press, Bridgeport mill, wood planer, oscilloscope, plasma cutter, Full Spectrum 90W laser cutter, and more. Whether you have a project to complete or simply would like to gain more experience with a certain skill like woodworking, welding, machining, or 3D printing, Cedar Valley Makers can help you move forward. They even have design software available, including AutoCAD, Fusion 360, and Adobe Photoshop CS2.
