On the first and third Saturdays of the month from 1:00–3:00 p.m., NewBoCo hosts CoderDojo, a free program for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade to learn tech skills – everything from programming robots to developing websites.
Attendees are welcomed at 1 p.m. and everyone is given the details on what stations are available that day. This is an opportunity for kids to explore technology, coding, and critical thinking at various entry levels. You can always expect several computer science options that range from Code.org’s Hour of Code to database development, web development, or custom projects to help kids learn a new skill. Stations may include a variety of robotics, VR, app development, HTML, intro to coding, circuitry, engineering challenges, and more. Parents, feel free to stay and learn alongside your child.
